Family bakers working together in a warm bakery kitchen

"Every loaf that leaves our oven carries a piece of our family's story."

Our story

From our family to yours

Sunny Side Bakehouse began in 1995 as a small home kitchen operation. Mama Rose would bake a dozen loaves of sourdough each morning, and by noon they'd be gone — sold to neighbors who'd knock on the back door. Papa Joe suggested opening a real storefront, and in 2003, we found our home on Maple Street. Today, our daughters Sofia and Elena work alongside us, and our son Michael handles the books. The recipes are the same ones Mama Rose brought with her from her own grandmother — simple, honest, and made to share.
